Thanks for the tip. I haven't started grinding it down yet (I'm still
feeling a little disheartened) so I'll take your advice and try just backing
up to the 12u stuff.
By the way everybody, when I was referred me to this group for guidance on
making my first mirror they praised how helpful and friendly people here
are. I'm happy to say that I agree completely -- everybody has been very
helpful, given great advice, and I've never been made to feel like a dolt
for not knowing what I'm doing. Thanks very much for that :-)
