as can be seen in all advertising, legalese, and political rhetoric--whether
campaign or not.

A lot of people think that you have to write complex sentences in order to
be literate and intelligent.  Issac Asimov proved that the opposite is true.
Short clear sentences are the way to go for easy readibility.
In addition, when translating, there is always the problem of converting
from one system of thought to another as what happens when you translate
from one language to another.  There is even fun when converting from
Communism talk to plain talk.
