John, if you haven't started grinding yet, you will only need to go to 12
micron to get that 2" out of the ROC.  Better to go slower with the grinding
than to overshoot to the other side.  Do a wet of wide rough grinding type
strokes and then a wet of spherizing strokes and see where things are.  I'll
bet that you'll be almost there the first set.  Do leave yourself a little
long on ROC (maybe 1/2") as this will be taken up in the polishing and
figuring.
