[ATM] Best books on mirror making

Also, Howard's Standard Handbook of Telescope Making has detailed
step-by-step instructions for making an 8" mirror, similar to Thompson's
for a 6. List, is this book still worthwhile?
Dick Suiter in Star Testing Astronomical Telescopes makes a really good
case that knowing how to use the star test might be the only mirror testing
method that either amateur or professional mirror makers need know. For
telescope builders, I'd recommend this along with Kriege/Berry as an
absolute must have, if only for the chapter on Obstruction and Shading. As
for the star test itself, mirror makers like Dobson and Suiter use it as
the final arbiter in determining their mirrors figures. How do you feel
about its usefulness for mirror makers?
