Re: [ATM] Making the pitch tool



Thanks for the tip Dale.

Do you (or anyone else) have any clever ways of melting the pitch?  My stove
is gas and I don't own a hotplate :-(  I'm a reasonably competent cook and
know how to use a double boiler, so just how volatile are the vapors from
pitch?  Sometimes I find it difficult to separate the hyper-cautiousness of
some recommendations against more reasonable cautions.  I can't imagine that
simply melting pitch is akin to boiling gasoline or something, but I just
don't know...
