Dobson does (or did, once) have a book.  The cover was luan mahogany, or
some such--thin plywood like that used as underlayment on carpeting/tile.  I
found his videotape better, not for the details but for showing the
movements--how it is done, which doesn't always come in words.

My copy of the book grew its own feet and walked away some years ago.

I agree with the older books mentioned in the previous replies, but haven't
seen the newer ones mentioned.

Texerau takes nothing for granted and is a good book.
I don't Dobson has a book.  He does have a video and I
learned a lot from it.
