There are lots of neoprene foams on the market that have a very low
reflectance and are available in any thickness you require, The best one I
have found to date is the type of closed cell foam they call Armorflex
(sp?), it is used to insulate piping. It is a filled plastic so it doesn't
have the glossy surface usually found on various foam bubble surfaces. The
company I dealt with supplies it with a self adhesive back, but I don't
recommend it since it has to started exactly in position and is unforgiving
when stuck.. If you do decide to give it a try be sure to specify ETR-FRC
stands for electric track resistance fire retarded coating.
