Thanks very much for the links to the program...as a digest consumer, I 
overlooked the function to search the list archive and find it myself. Along the 
same lines, I don't see a readme/text file with instructions for using FigureXP. 
Did you write one, James? One thing that I particularly like is a simple 
enhancement: the "Ideal Knife Edge Value" calculations at the F3 function. I know 
you've slaved over the other more complicated goodies and appreciate those 
too, but that little nuts and bolts feature is really nice. Thank you very much!

I like the star test sims alot, and wonder if the program could simulate the 
foucault shadow? Us beginner types are constantly second guessing ourselves: 
last night at midnight it was "dang, is that edge or is that hyperbola?" Slept 
on it...still not sure.
