[ATM] Can you see a laser beam where it strikes a polished surface?
I'm halfway through figuring an 8" F5.7 mirror, using CeO. When clean and dry, with a laser, most of the light passes through the mirror, but some of the light can be seen on the surface. Not a lot, but I read that the surface reflection should be undetectable. I read also that rouge produces a finer surface polish. To you old hands, I ask if you have an opinion on which polish does a better job, and if you can see light where it impinges the surface of polished glass?
