32" is a big scope anywhere!
The motions for polsshing are basically the same as what you would think,
back and forth as the mirror turns underneath.  You basically have to cover
all of the area of the mirror evenly to get a good polish.  Figuring is
where the center gets worked a bit more and the outer edge also as these are
the areas where more material needs to be removed to get the parabola out of
the sphere.
