Frequency is a nice thing to know, but amplitude and
how much will the turbulence disturb the image.
Amplitude, in that case, would be the most important
measurement.
If connected to the computer that's taking a CCD
image, it can shut off the exposure during rough air
and turn it back on during quiet periods. A better
CCD image results, though with a longer exposure. I
don't know how it will work with film.
