Re: [ATM] Grinding questions



Would a difference in thickness affect the operation of the corrector plate
(due to a change in distance) or would it be more of a problem for the
travel of the focuser?  If I decide to ditch the plate glass and switch to
Pyrex then perhaps I can find a good thickness match (the existing mirror is
Pyrex).  My alternative is to just re-work the original mirror instead, but
I'm afraid of screwing it up and not having a working scope anymore, so I've
have been avoiding that option.
