RE: [ATM] Figuring nightmare I need your help
Thanks Mel,
Will give it a bash; do I work COC or do I keep a chordal stroke? How
much of a W do use or should I keep it pretty straight?
All the polishing of the edge means I have a suberbly sharp edge and a
great polish! So even though my levels of frustrations are high...there
are positives and also I have learned some things about avoiding TDE -
work the edge!
Brent

good with a nice polishing movement. Stroke is chordal with the center
of the lap almost on the high zone. Overlap over edge is 2 inches.
Overhang on the length of the stroke is 2 inches. I did 15 minutes good
solid polishing and I have deepened the curve even more. Foucault <<<
Sounds like you are working down the outer zones. When you do so, the
edge's Radius of Curvature lengthens, which increases parabolization.
When
you analyze the 'high point' of the zone, you usually find that the best
place to attack is just inside this point. And, to keep 'contact' with
the
center, you want to add in a lot of strokes towards the center.
