You are understanding perfectly well. I agree with what you say. I was
working with the idea that the peak of the hyperbola is at about 80%
diameter and so I need to reduce this peak by working on it, but to no
avail. Nothing I do really seems to make much difference at all.

The total correction for the mirror is supposed to be 11.5 mm (F5.2) and
I am currently at about 14.5mm total correction with most of that on the
outer zone

So I need to reduce the radius of curvature for the outer parts of
mirror. If I just deepen the center I thought that I would land up
agregavating the problem...
