Dominic, you're going to find that the power requirements are really quite
modest and I'd suggest that you try to make the whole thing in one workbench
sized piece if possible.
When the welder goes to town on the vacuum chamber, you will want something
as large as possible for diameter so that you can do some decent sized
mirrors.
I hope that you are prepared for the infux of persnickety customers!
