ATM Astgma

Well after doing some test lastnight, I believe there
is a definite astigma in my system,not sure how bad
because I have never seen it before but it flares out
like a line just before and just after focus,and the
swing is about 90 degrees....(someone said it gets
worse with more power, but i find it harder to notice
with more power, best noticed with the 20mm
eyepiece)....seeing as it was not there before I tried
turning the eyepiece, turning my position at the
eyepiece and switching eyes, all with the same
results.... no change.
so today I removed the mirror and rotated it 90
degrees, so tonight I will know if it is the primary
or not.I also left the retainer clips plenty slack so
they will not be in the equation.
down to two pieces of the optical train, the mirror or
the diagonal, they both are in new mounts so maybe I
goofed up on a mount somehow.
Will let  you know results tonight.
