Re: ATM Apodizing Mask




Yes I did.

Removing the mast created the standard diffraction spikes and seemed to
reduce the contrast on the plant. What I liked about the image with the mask
is that it appeared to have better contrast and in the area immediately
surrounding the planet there were no spikes. They seem to have been offset
leaving a nicely resolved plant.

I tried the mask on the moon and it was terrible but on planets I felt it
was great. I did not get a chance to try any other objects with it though.
