ATM Warning- microwaving pitch lap

Hi Guys,

I just broke a float glass 8" x 3/4" tool heating it in a microwave to
soften the pitch for repressing.
Even though it was rotating on a turntable it would appear localized hot
spots in the glass were
enough to stress it to fracture. Probably safe enough using pyrex or other
low coefficient materials.

An extreme case of "flex"?

Oh well- dig out another blank of Cassaro's finest and heat some pitch.
