Re: ATM testing a flat mirror
Hi guys,
In the past I tested several times diagonal mirrors using a artificial star
and a refractor.
Very easy, astigmatism and other problems can be seen at once.
However now I have a 33 cm flat (13 inches), not easy to find a sphere that
large.
I think I will use my 12 1/2" Newtonian for testing.
Unfortunately it will not be possible to calculate the precision of the
surface of the flat.
