As Peter mentioned, we over at the Chabot Telescope workshop would love
to have you come visit. Its a good 
1.5 to 2 hr. each way, but in one evening you will see people hogging
out, fine grinding, polishing, figuring, and testing, and will come away
much the better for it.
We're there every Friday nite 7-10pm. If you need directions, let me
know.
