Congratulations to Steve!  But Guy, be sure to encourage your students
always to calculate and state their error estimates.  Two measurements are
an absolute minimum -- the Texereau spreadsheet should at least show
independent data in rows D1 and D2.  A larger number of measurements made
across multiple diameters, taken at different times, done by separate
people, etc. lets you claim accuracy with some authority.  Otherwise
people will just jump all over you.  The Tex program does the statistical
calculations, so there's no reason not to do this.
