ATM "The Yolo Reflector" booklet by A. S. Leonard

Arthur S. Leonard published a booklet entitled "The Yolo Reflector" sometime in the 1960's
or 1970's. It was distributed by the Optica b/c company of Oakland, CA. I have a copy,
but I am concerned that, as in the case of Sky & Telescope Bulletin A, the number of
copies available to today's and tomorrow's atm's may be very small. In the case of
Bulletin A, Sky & Telescope still has at least one copy and can serve as a source for
those who are interested. I don't know if there is any ready source of the Yolo booklet
anymore. I haven't heard of the Optica b/c company for some time.

If indeed there is no ready source for the Yolo booklet, I am thinking of preparing a web
version. The version of the booklet I have does not contain any copyright notice or
publication date, still, it would be presumptuous of me to web publish the work with out
at least making some attempt to verify that it is in the public domain, or gain permission
from the copyright holder. So I post the following questions:

1. Does anyone know whether Arthur S. Leonard, inventor of the Yolo and Solano telescope
designs, is still alive? If so, do you have an address for him?

2. If Mr. Leonard is not alive, does anyone have contact with his heirs, presumably his
family.

3. Does the Optica b/c company still exist? Does anyone have contact with persons who
worked at Optica b/c, who might have knowledge of Mr. Leonard and his booklet.

4. A 12 inch Yolo was apparently built for the Sacramento Valley Astronomical Society at
Colfax, CA. It seems likely that Mr. Leonard may have been a member. In any case, some
one there may know him or his family. Does anyone have contact with this society?

Thank you.
