Apologies to all Western WA. ATM's....

Well it seems I owe all the western WA. Atm's an apology. It all started
out when I won 2 tickets to game 5 between the Seattle Mariners and
Cleveland. I couldn't go, so I gave the tickets to two of my coworkers on
the condition that they do me a favor while on that side of the state. They
happily agreed, and I apparently had started the unfortunate chain of events
rolling. The deal was this: Just drop by Abrasives Northwest in South
Center (Near Seattle) and pick me up some silicon carbide grit. 10 pounds
of 80 grit and 10 of the next size down (Which turns out to be 46/70 btw).
So the duo arrive, after driving around for an hour and a half looking for
the place as navigator had problems with the map I printed them, and they go
inside. So they tell the sales person what they want. he replays " you
mean 100 lbs. right???" No they tell him, just ten of each. He replies "We
don't sell in quantities less than the 50 pound bags." They (my friends)
assure him that their goofy ATM friend (me) has bought grit from them before
and that he said (me again) that they never had a problem with it in the
past. "Well", says the salesperson, "we have sold smaller quantities to
atm's in the past but I don't have any open bags at the moment." They reply
"well we just drove all the way over from Wenatchee and we would really
appreciate it if you could do us this favor." He agrees and goes in the
back to break open some bags of grit. So far so good, but then it happens.
One of my friends has to pee. It was a long drive after all. So he sees
the open bathroom door and goes inside. Emerging a minute later he
announces to the other that the toilet won't flush. But now the other needs
to go #2 and goes into the bathroom ignoring the warning of the
malfunctioning bathroom appliance. Ten minutes later he emerges as well and
announces, "you're right, the toilet doesn't flush...." Arg. They then
leave without leaving the customary "beer tip." Well needless to say if any
of you need any 46/70 roughing grit which is great for hogging, or any 80
SiC for rough grinding please stop by and help them use up those open
bags.... And perhaps give them a buck or two for their trouble...

Thanks, and sorry for any inconvenience......
