Ice is not a liquid, it is very definitely a solid complete with a
crystal structure (anyone ever look at a snow flake under a microscope?)
The reason glaciers flow is that they are not all ice. The amount of
pressure in a glacier is so great that parts of it are liquid thus
allowing the solid parts to flow.
