Re: ATM 3-Vane or 4-Vane Spiders
Hi Jim, Doug, Mike:
Doug, that scope with the Carbon Fiber "T" wouldn't be the 28lbs. string
scope at the OSP Walkabout with Mel would it? Neat spider design, very
simple!
Thanks for the pointers fella's, I am reading and getting a handle on the
procedure and terminology. It doesn't look all that difficult and certainly
worth a try.
BTW, Mike Q. is a local club member and emailed me offering his aid based on
previous experience with fiberglass, it sounds as though he is interested in
laying up some CF as well. I think, at the least, there will be some CF
spiders built here this winter. I would speculate he may be interested in
more than just a spider for the 12.5" project he's pondering. Could be an
experimental winter in Suth'n Oregon.
