Bob,
I've found that a Radio Shack "golfscope" makes a great viewing
telescope for a tester, they are relatively inexpensive have adjustable
focus, small and have an image erecting prism inside, trying to keep
track of "if the shadow moves left am I inside or outside of ROC" when
looking through an inverting telescope is enough to drive anybody
insane!
