ATM Dovetail dimensions

Hi,

Is there such thing as a "standard" dovetail? If so, what are the
dimensions?

I'm working on a finder, and the commercially available mounts ain't looking
like they're going to work as well as I'd like with my particular scope.
However, I would like to stay compatible with their dimensions in case this
finder ends up on another scope, or these parts end up being used in some
unanticipated way. Also, by the very nature of the process, I'll be making
extra stock. It'd be a shame to make something incompatible.

I'd guess I need something in the neighborhood of 1/2" square Al stock for
the "male" bar. I have 3/8" cut, 9* (degree) and 1/2", 14* carbide-tipped
router bits. But I'm not sure which angle is appropriate.

Any help would be appreciated. I guess if there's no standard, following
the Losmandy dimensions would probably(?) give me the most options down the
road.

Anyone got some calipers, know how to measure something like this, and have
a few minutes to help? I'd really appreciate it.

TIA,

-- Andre
