Re: ATM publishing, was: flex mirror and...
Yes, Mike you are right. Thanks for supporting all the fine efforts you
mention.
ATM Journal, like its predecessor Telescope Making, literally *lives* for
articles on Amateur Telescope Making. Every issue. All the time. Nothing
but. In fact, it is the only publication in the world devoted strictly to
amateur telescope making! Our Associate Editors were all closely tied to TM,
and have continued to support the ATMJ.
This year we have already published several articles written by members of
this ATM list. Upcoming in Issue #16, now on press, are Dan Chaffee on his
binocular singlet refractor, a contribution from Peter Abrahams about 17th
Century speculum making, Albert Highe's Ultralight 12.5-inch Dob, Heino
Wolter's three new Schiefspiegler designs, and a complete bibliography of TM
Magazine.
We welcome submissions from any and all ATMs, on any facet of telescope
making, telescope design, and historical telescope making. Pay? Well, you
receive a year's membership in the Amateur Telescope Maker's Association,
with a year of the Journal. We are read in 40 foreign countries as well, at
last count, which brings your ideas to an international audience. Check us
out at http://www.atmjournal.com
