ATM My project almost destroyed

I can't believ it happened to me...

About 10 minutes ago, I started to put my mirror onto silicon, to
connect it to the mirror cell. the next thing i know is that there's a
bit of silicon on my mirror. I get histeric, and go clean it with a
tissue... The mirror is "foggy", and I ca'nt see my face clearly in
it. Then My sister and mother hear my crying out, and my sister uses
here camera's lens cleaner to clean my mirror. I'm still thinking: I
can't believ this is happening to me.

Results: My mirror has a lot of little scrathes in it. A few days
after getting it from the aluminizer for 78$...

I'm depressed...
