Raw, it's white-white, ever so slightly translucent. However, you can
find black Delrin, too. Kind of slippery, a mild pain in the neck to
machine (loves to grab drill bits as it expands). OTOH, it's almost as
good as Teflon for sliding bearings and it's tough. Higher performance
autos use it as a replacement for hard rubber in suspension
bushings. Real name: Acetal resin.
