ATM Re:teflon delrin etc

These are my observations with my uses of these materials, hope this
helps.

Teflon- Usually white in color, and is opaque and slippery to the touch.
fairly soft.
UHMW, polyethylene- Usually white in color and slightly translucent very
soft
Nylon- normally a yellowish white color, slightly translucent and very
hard and ridgid.
Delrin- not sure
Nylatron- dark purple-black, hard and slippery.  Used as a bearing
material, nylon
               with  additives.
