Kriege and Berry's book has a chapter on this. Their method is basically
as follows:
(weight of item #1) * (distance from balance point) + #2 + #3 = #1 + #2
... on other side of the balance point
Play around with the location of the balance point until its correct. If
you have to be off, make it bottom heavy. Due to the leverage of the
tube, it takes less weight on the top to balance off the bottom.
