ATM CCD Cookbook (camera window)

Hello everybody,

    I've got to the point of building the camera head for my CCD. I need to choose the window for it, but I am not sure what should I use for this, any ideas?

    I´ve thought about a UV filter of the kind used as protective window for photography objectives (would this be good?), but i've found nothing smaller than 39mm, and I'm supposed to use a 25mm one. I would have to cut it and I don't know how could this be done.

    Those of you who have buit the CCD, could you explain how you got over this?
