Hi, I would do the hole cleaning with a micro drill with caution. If the PC board is multilayer, connections may be made by thru-plating from one side of the board to the other. Using a drill can remove this plating and wipe out continuity from one side of the board to the other. I know, 'cause I've done it! Most embarasssing.
