[ATM] Polish then figure

Jim, I certainly understand your position, I respectfully disagree however. 
The reason I do not even consider figuring the mirror until it is fully 
polished is that the figure changes with every stroke. I'm pretty good about 
polishing to an excellent sphere, all the way to the edge. Further, figuring 
is relatively a quick process. Suppose I get the figure right before I'm 
fully polished? I can't stop. There is nothing more amateurish (or useless) 
than a grey mirror. Regardless of how good the figure is.

I take it one step at a time. That is what works well for me.
