[ATM] Pyrex ?

So far I picked up13.5 lb of pyrex at second hand store for $7.45 some of
the double boilers have pyrex with a slight color can I mix them or does
the glass have to be 100% see transparent. I also seen some of the new
stuff dose not have a  pyrex stamped in it and the fine print makes it
clear not to go from hot to cold even though it is oven safe. can anyone
give me a source for silica or silicon dioxide sand I need to mix it with
molding plaster for the mold.
