The devit will only get worse once you remelt and the
material in the veins wonted float to the surface.If
it's only 4mm just grind it away and solve two
problems at the same time.I do believe the pyrex
you're using isn't well suited to casting.When I fused
my blanks the longer I held the temp the worse the
devit got.

Can I suggest trying a smaller mirror for that size
kiln it will improve things overall.If it was me I'd
use the blank as is to test for strain and interior
casting result and experiment on a another one of say
12 inches to get the bugs out the technique.
