That's kind of dependent upon how good the scope ends up being.
You lose about  four percent for each surface of the incoming
light and that ends up comparing about the same as the light loss
for a Newt with two mirrors each with a reflection loss of about
eight percent.
I just got done building a six inch doublet and am going to be
spending some time evaluating it for what I need to do to correct
any errors and finally put a good polish on it (right now the
surfaces have only been polished with pads so the quality of the
polish isn't that great.
If the lenses are good enough for me, I'll be sending them out
for an antireflection coting and praying that they come back in
the two pieces that I sent them in.
