We did this in High School in our Electronics class.

It was cool, I did not realize Foucault did this.. interesting

We started it swinging (Big weight) and left a Bowling pin "far away"
and went back to our seats...

At the appointed time we all heard the pin get knocked over.

Mr. Adolf Vieth was one of the best teachers I ever had.
