Personally I would use Bronze, probably SAE660 gunmetal Bronze. But if
you like plastic, then Nylatron may be worth a look. It's a fairly
hard Nylon based plastic which is embedded with lubricant during
manufacturer. The lubricant does not leech out, not even with high
pressure steam.
