Re: [ATM] OT - Shuttle landing question...

Go to NASA Human Space Flight, click on Real Time Data, the second selection
is landing ground tracks. The data is not posted until 48 - 24 hours in
advance.

Subject: [ATM] OT - Shuttle landing question...

Help me Obi-wan....

Sorry to post this here, but *I know* someone reading will have an
answer for me...

I am trying to find out the Shuttle's landing trajectory for this
Wednesday so Ican go outside and watch it. As I understand, it will
be visible over parts of California as it descends.

I have googled ten different ways and explored NASA's website for
quite some time and I can't find a descent map. Good grief, you
think NASA would be promoting descent viewing as much as launch viewings.

I have seen two Shuttle re-entry burns (both at night) and they were
absolutely spectacular.

So once again, my apologies for posting off-topic on the telescope
list. But if you can post a link to the descent trajectory I would
mightily appreciate it.

Best, Mike
