There would be very little or no movement in axial direction. But when the
telescope moves further to looking at the horizon, there can be movement
along the circumference. For instance piano wires can be pushed outside and
to not return to their optimum position when moving back, because of
friction between mirror and the contactpoints of the piano wire assemblies.
