I'd recommend two safety precautions.

1. A GFCI. Make sure your circuit has a good ground and test the GFCI.

2. If you consider very slow death worse than quick electrocution, then
you will also want a good quality dust respirator. Even running wet, a
high speed tool on glass is going to generate glass dust in the air.
Why? See that spray of water coming off of the tool? It creates fine
droplets, containing glass fines. Those droplets evaporate quickly,
creating instant glass dust. Unless you like the life style of having
to carry an oxygen tank around on your shoulder wherever you go, and not
being able to get enough oxygen to walk up stairs (or have sex) or any
other fun things, even with the help of the bottled oxygen, then you
want to take the glass dust threat seriously.
