Here's an experiment I'd like to try (or have somebody try): put a mirror 
in its cell, tilt it up and run my 2D webcam Hartmann test

This would say how much the RMS and Strehl ratio has deteriorated due to 
cell and tilt.  Of course, it won't tell you what to do if the combination 
fails (SR < 0.8).
