[ATM] Documentary film on ATM

I have seen many documentary films, on channels like Dscovery and National Geographic,  about enthusiasts making/designing their own cars, motor bikes, gliders and a hell lot of other things. I just want to know if there is ever such a film made about Amateur Telescope Making.
   
  Secondly I have tried making pitch lap many times without success. The biggest problem is that air bubbles keep poping up from deep inside the molten pitch although this depth is only half an inch or so. I have tried burning match stick and hot metal rod to collapse these bubbles but they keep on appearing untill the pitch solidifies. Other thing is that when ever I pressed the mirror on the lap with hands the lap became wedged.
