There are two appendices to Kriege and Berry that cover mirror making
(specific to large thin mirrors, but most of it applies to smaller and
thicker as well) and construction of a simple, solid tube Dob.  I'd go
with that plus Tex or perhaps the LeClares for more on mirror making.
