Wayne posted the following a while back with a Stellafane link to a
refractor class given by Richard Parker that I found interesting...It is a
large file at 38megs that plays for 45 minutes, so if you are on dial up,
you are probably S.O.L... The kit that is used by Richard Parker is a
Newport kit... here is Waynes post...

page then the atm short talks.   Richard Parker gave a talk called "A 
refractor you can build".  I believe he used the Newport Glass kit. Its a 
movie of the talk and has quite a bit of good information in it...."

Also, my experience with the folks at Newport is to call and e-mail OFTEN...

Their mirror making kits ar not included on the
website but
are listed in their paper catalogue.
