Thanks for the idea about wire spiders. I wonder, I'm sure the wires will work, but is my cage strong enough to hold them? Seems like solid vanes would also work, if they were not slack. So I think my first move is to beef up the cage. Then, maybe some wire, or cut out the vanes like Tom's?
