John,  Switch to a wire spider.  With an angle of 20-30 degrees between
the wires, you gain a lot of stability and wind dampening.  The
misconception about wire spiders is that you have to tension the wires
to make them stiff.  WRONG!!!  Tightening them will not make them
stronger.  As long as the wires aren't slack, it will work perfectly.
