Re: [ATM] ATM-Could use some Flocking advice

I have installed black velveteen to the inside of my scope by attaching to
the smooth surface of cardboard that is used to wrap
molding or long stock in shipping. This cardboard has only one smooth face
and a corrugated side, it is a natural to roll.

Contact cement on the smooth face and spray adhesive to the back side of the
velveteen. I didn't want the cement to bleed through and
change the surface texture of the velveteen. Check to see if they are
compatible with each other.

My Wife then sewed a coupe tubes of the velveteen material that were only as
wide as a banding strap used in shipping.

Cardboard piece inserted in tube and then about a 2 circumferences length of
banding strap threaded inside the little holder tubes.
With the band wrapped tighter than the tube diameter insert and let it go,
the band tries to straighten out and holds the velveteen-cardboard
against the inside of the tube.
